Be A Peacemaker

Pictured is a Colt 45 “Peacemaker”, a weapon dubbed such at a time when laws hadn’t been well fleshed out yet and the “lawmen” as they were called back then, used force, even lethal force, to see that peace was kept in their territory. 

In our ever-increasing pacifist culture, such a stance fly’s in the face of what we see every day. We arraign the innocent while releasing the guilty. This has been happening for years as our society devolves more and more under the guise of becoming more “progressive” in our way of thought. Death penalties are being abandoned for the depraved and murderous while “drug peddlers” who dare sneak marijuana into the hands of the sick for the purpose of life and healing are seeing longer prison terms than ever. Now, however, we have slid even further down the rabbit hole and have actually started letting the guilty out of jails before their full sentence has been served… Why? They might get sick…

*cough* Hold on… if a contained environment makes someone more vulnerable to infection (it does), how is that our concern? If a free individual does not wish to suffer such a risk, perhaps they should not have committed the crime which placed them in handcuffs in the first place, hmm? Yet they continue to walk free, first a few, now in the hundreds at last count. Some have already been arrested again for the same charge that earned them their imprisonment the first time! And which people are beginning to re-fill those empty cells? Those that defy the mandatory curfews and quarantines under which they have been illegally placed.

*sigh* Surely so few are not as blind as it seems. There is always a remnant. To that I will cling, even if the group is so small that it can be measured on one hand. I will side with the righteous, no matter the cost. My ideals are built on the Bible, on God’s guidance, and the history of our own once-great country that was founded on these same principles. 

When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness” – Snippet from the Declaration of Independence

If you do not immediately recognize those words, it shows quite deeply how much our nation has deceived you. They should be inscribed in every public entrance, adorning our homes and engraved on our hearts. It was by violence that the men who drafted that article attained freedom for themselves and their families, and I fear that it is soon again by violence that we must hold to ours. To do so would not be wrong, as many are now stating. With our liberties in jeopardy we would be well within the scope of our own laws to take up arms and defend our lives. This, dear reader, when done at the guidance of God and for righteous’ sake according to the Constitution of these United States of America, would indeed make you into more than just a peacemaker. You would be a patriot.

Before you argue, I’d urge you to watch the NBC news video below and ask yourself if you have any interest at all in being herded like the meek individuals portrayed. No argument, no struggle… Their fight began with defying the mandatory lock-down but ended without any resistance in the back of a prison cargo truck. We’re next, America.
